The end! This has been great. I ended with the one that I was most intimidated by, but it worked out just fine. I improvised a quilling tool from a needle that had split at the end, pushed into an eraser as a handle. The result is not perfect, but great for a first time. More photos below.

About my December star challenge: In November I put together a Pinterest board of 25 tutorials for making paper stars and decided to turn it into a sort of advent challenge by crafting a star a day for the first 24 days of December, culminating in my own version of an advent calendar by Christmas day.
