Star challenge, day nine: five point origami star

Oh dear, going to have to admit defeat on this one. 38 steps in Japanese was not meant to be.
:(
Original tutorial at: www.doorigami.com/origami-stars.html. (Japanese)

Oh well. I suppose that's why I'm trying a lot - to find the ones I like. The effect that this star would have is similar to the one from day two, the five point folded star. I like that one a lot, and will go back to it I'm sure. Until tomorrow, here's my window at work, growing with papercut snowflakes.

And a papercut snowflake garland for my Grandma:

About my December star challenge: In November I put together a Pinterest board of 25 tutorials for making paper stars and decided to turn it into a sort of advent challenge by crafting a star a day for the first 24 days of December, culminating in my own version of an advent calendar by Christmas day.
