Star challenge, day nineteen: folded eight-point German stars (flat)

Just a quick photo today - I'm starting to get caught up in other Christmas preparations. The foil paper I used for this was from a little kit I bought sometime back. The instructions were in Norwegian so I never had been able to successfully put any stars together! This star, like yesterday's, would be well suited as a garland. That may have to wait for now.

Original tutorial at: insidethepaperbox.blogspot.com/2012/10/star-ornament-tutorial.html. Note - this is actually for a fabric version, but I liked the step-by-step photos that are the same principle in paper.

About my December star challenge: In November I put together a Pinterest board of 25 tutorials for making paper stars and decided to turn it into a sort of advent challenge by crafting a star a day for the first 24 days of December, culminating in my own version of an advent calendar by Christmas day.
