Star challenge, day three: hanging eight point stars

The first one involving glue, these hanging eight pointed stars are easy and fun to make.

First go in origami paper, second in pizza wrapping.

About my December star challenge: In November I put together a Pinterest board of 25 tutorials for making paper stars and decided to turn it into a sort of advent challenge by crafting a star a day for the first 24 days of December, culminating in my own version of an advent calendar by Christmas day. 1. They look great. And to use pizza wrapping, now that's an interesting idea. Thanks also for your pinterest compilation of paper stars! Welcome back to blogging!

  2. Thanks so much! These are currently the household favorite. My parents used to own a pizza restaurant, so my mom would use pizza wrapping like tissue paper - it is great for these stars, as it is both translucent and sturdy. Thanks again!
